Aurora Conference Center

SAG team members prepared a conference center feasibility study for the City of Aurora, CO.  Once the City’s goals and objectives associated with the project were clearly defined, SAG focused first on educating the City as to the various types of convention and conference facilities that exist and the attributes of the markets that support them.  Secondly, the market study concentrated only on those types of projects that would allow Aurora to meet those goals and objectives.  The results of the study, largely based upon the destination’s immaturity in terms of infrastructure, found that a facility would be feasible on the site once certain thresholds were met.  The advice to the City was not to build at that time.
